   Every social media post from Scotrail results in 100s of comments from people who never used trains, don't use trains, and won't ever use trains. Lots of comments about their one bad experience, like no one ever had a shit journey in a car. Meanwhile, the experience of folk who do use them seems to be pretty positive. Hopefully #Scotrail will have some decent figures to share. 🤞

     @CloudyMrs yes, regular train users know the service is good and they make an effort to get people to their destination in the event of disruption.

     Ferries don’t. They just dump you.

     @peterbrown cars don't either. For some reason the folk who will never use a train again after once being an hour late in 1996, are very forgiving of endless delays on the roads.

     @CloudyMrs apparently studies have shown that drivers tolerance to congestion is very high provided there’s a parking space waiting for them on arrival

     @chattan I use the train from Aberdeenshire to the central belt really regularly. Delays are rare. The biggest change since Scotrail was nationalised is the attitude of staff. Something definitely seems to have changes in the way they are being trained. All super helpful, without exception.

     @enmodo ach, I think they're real people. Same ones who hate cyclists because they go too slow but keep overtaking them at traffic lights and think imigrants are causing potholes and that climate change is a hoax generated by the same "them" that engineer the weather with contrails, or something.
