@heytomjones @HockeyDoxie I pointed out to some young men that the easiest way to spot a local light-rail stop is to look for the newish apartment blocks, because they all look exactly the same and they all spring up on the light-rail stops. Purposely. New single-family-home permits are hard to come by, but they'll rip out existing structures with a vengeance to get the high-density-housing in place.
They're miserable shitholes, though. With no parking. And they only way to get around is by these light-rails. And the only place to get-to is downtown, which is the miserablest shithole around.
They could have sold all of this 20 years ago. That they gave the cities over to the BLM riots and then hollowed out the office buildings with their quarantines... The Nefarious Evil that run everything with their Master Plans are dimwits. No normal humans want to be forced to live where the niggers are.

not just cities but this shit is being sold to pseudo-suburban small towns.
i went to our town’s board of mayor and aldermens‘ meeting last night because a master development plan consisting of 600+ townhomes and apartments that the developer likes to identify as “stacked flats” and ”urban lofts” was approved to proceed, in a town with a population of less than 15,000 super-majority White residents who live in single-family homes.
it doesn’t matter that this town isn’t laking in single home inventory. it’s about the developer‘s ROI for its investors and density per square acre = $$$.
money corrupts at the most local of levels and sadly, this town gets what it deserves because of its residents’ apathy towards participating in its own community’s future.
after all, that’s why they elected this mayor and board to do all those hard town management things they can’t be bothered with while they happily gorge at the newest fast food chain that popped up because of “the major economic growth it will provide this town!”
