     Serious content usually is found on text format for people to read, fluff is kept at a/v format.
     Talks were written and read, so they were in text form. easier to translate and transcribe than a/v crap!

     @yianiris I understand. That sucks. There are other instances you can migrate to that have a higher character limit. Maybe if I boost this, I can find some of those instances for you.🤷♂️

     Most of the admins' replies on the limit was "it is too hard to configure for non-default, and it reverts back to default after each upgrade", which to me if it was true, sounds like a packaging issue or inablility to oonfigure the build (with rust I wouldn't be surprised). Maybe they are running mastodon on windows, who knows, so to engage in /etc/ configuration is pointless.

     I am not a server owner because I can't afford it. I am simply a user.
