Being an umpire was great, and was actually pretty decent money at the high school and junior college level. I would hit some little games on the weekends for extra cash and free concession food. Those crowds are the worst people that exist. Some 275lb mom sitting 200ft away knows exactly what is a ball or strike, and her son will be called to the majors any day now if not for me getting in his fat ass way.
I used to have similar protection as a baseball umpire. There were several near fights with little league parents. (Absolute lunatics) I had to warn a few dads that they would be going to jail after they were released from the hospital, but if they wanted to fight the guy wearing armor and holding a bag of baseballs they could try.
I promise to do the same. If all news media isn't completely scrubbed by then, you can be sure there will be footage somewhere of a guy wearing system pig skins and doing a rain dance in his yard, so you all know it was me, and why I stopped poasting
I'm telling you if it ever does go sideways, I'm going to do the silliest, most based Geneva Convention breaking activities imaginable. NCTV can do live streams right :wojak-ss:
I get doxed and videotaped and uploaded to Twitter pretty regularly anytime some random shitlib walks by. They yell at me and call me racist, even though I'm manhandling a nigger that was attempting to rape some lady in a bathroom or something. It's only a matter of time before I have my very own George Floyd moment 😒
@SK1ZM@Tactical@Eiswald I'm not sure if I understand the George Floyd reference, but as for the other part. Assuming the system/powers are in a state of disarray and detached apathy at THEIR BEST is the position everyone should be taking right now. This system is crashing and burning on a moral/logistical/inheritance level. And, there's not going to be any magic group of Fascist organization or Nationalist men ready to swoop in and pick it up the moment it falls down. It will be like surviving a plane crash or bad car wreck. If you brace yourself now, you'll come out of it ok. But, only so much. The fixing part will take a couple years.
I've survived a lot of tragedy and can de-escalate or compartmentalize if I need to, but eventually I'm going to have a George Floyd/ Ahmed Aubery moment and I am not going out like that. I was recently victimized by the system while doing my duty. Upon arrival at the site, I observed a junkie sleeping in the driver seat of a car with the engine running. He was parked right next to my personal vehicle, it's broad daylight in a busy shopping center, there's people and cameras everywhere. As a security guard, I am required to confront and trespass this man. I've done it a hundred times, they wake up and gun the engine, so you make sure you're not parked or standing in front or behind them. I just happened to be parked beside him and there was barriers in front, so he could only go in reverse, but he turned the wheel too sharp and struck my bumper tearing it halfway off, as he fled the scene. The guy was obviously living in that car. I explained that to the ladycop, because I knew he didn't have insurance. But I did have his photo and photos of the car and tags, but she said the guy didn't match the photo of the owner, it wasn't reported stolen, and she refused to investigate further. I expected a little professional courtesy since I'm literally doing her job for her, but she also refused to get the camera footage from the various cameras that I provided for her (the store can only release the footage to law enforcement). Especially for insurance, they need a third party witness, I can't just say my car got all fucked up. Anyway, she dropped the case, my insurance doesn't cover it so they dropped the claim, so I'm supposed to just buy a new bumper myself. I even called her nigger sergeant to escalate the investigation but he thought it was just like letting your buddy drive your car but he robs a bank and you're not responsible. Everyone can just do whatever the fuck they want to you and your property but you have to play by the rules that don't apply to you.
@SK1ZM@Tactical I once got so pissed off at my wage job that on break I walked right out into traffic to cross the street and tried to start a fight with someone who had a problem with it. Very few times in my life have I been that mad. Just 'abandon all reason and judgement' furious.
I'm just half predicting despite my shilling, my book is going to flop at like, 30-40 sales, sit there, I'll repost, and I'll just get a wall of fuck-all nothing. @ some big fucking e-celeb on here, get nothing
I dunno. It feels like all we do in this fucking movement is sit around, wait for Iranian missiles to hit, pat ourselves on the back, and then get back to gooning or hellthreading.
It's just frustration and some gay ass anxiety. It feels like all I get out of this movement / idea of ours is the fact I can say slurs, and the moment I ask for anything in return I just get blank stares and nothing
