     @pernia @fluffy @0 @syzygy @allison @Owl Yeah, it's the actual basis for webvac, and Revolver borrows heavily. IPFS borrows from it, too, but they break some important parts.

     @p @0 @Owl @allison @pernia @syzygy i had lunch so i took a look at it. it's pretty simple but actually quite clever, especially when it comes to using this for fedi. we call solutions of this variety 'elegant'.

     @shibao @allison @pernia @Owl @0 @syzygy @fluffy Yeah; in the case of IPFS, it's, like, the codebase is a mess, it still falls over a lot. I actually disabled IPFS on all of the Revolver instances because turning on IPFS support causes a 100x (yes) slowdown.
