Shopping online for a new practical daily driver car and I found this beauty and damn I absolutely love it.
It's pretty cheap, just the way I like it, only downside is that it doesn't have a technical inspection on it since January so I'm trying to contact the owner if they can tell me what's wrong with it and if it's an easy fix or not.

Update: I looked at the shitbox today and actually bought it.
I will be taking it home next Tuesday (Monday is a national holiday here so they aren't open).Haelwenn /элвэн/ :triskell: likes this. -

It did great on the test drive today, I had to a 1.8L Mazda 626 before this and the new one I'm buying has got the 2.2L engine and you can really feel that difference.
Things that definitely need to be done are battery, tires and alignment. There's one rust hole on the passenger side I discovered that's not too bad, it could probably pass inspection with it.
I got the records showing car has actually been sitting the past 4 years, the only thing the previous owner did with it was make it pass inspection every year for whatever reason even though he barely drove it, so the last time it had inspection is actually January of this year. It has only 190k kilometers on it, despite being a 33 year old car.
I usually avoid cars that have been sitting for a long time because they usually get weird issues because of that, but at least this one was stored inside and only for 4 years, not like 10, so it shouldn't be too bad. -

@radmin@limepeeps.perchinup.top It is being forced into being a daily right now, but I wanna keep the Miata in good condition.
Considering I drive 120km for work I don't wanna put that much kilometers on the poor Miata. The Miata should be for weekend drives, drifting, autocross track days and car shows. -

@radmin@limepeeps.perchinup.top Also not having a daily driver means I never get to work on the Miata at the shop.
If I depend on the Miata to get to work I can't have it offline for a few days at the shop so no maintenance will ever get done. -

@radmin@limepeeps.perchinup.top If you're a shitbox car guy like me you always need to have two cars so at least one of them is working at all times. That's just the rules.
