     We have our own F-Droid repo, but we plan to submit our app to the official one now that it's fully open source and AGPL licensed!

     @pixelfed @dansup are you considering adding the option to choose light or dark mode when opening the app for the first time? I actually prefer the light mode in Pixelfed's app, but it would've been nice to be able to preview it before choosing and logging in.

     Also, are you considering using a dark shade of grey, like #222, instead of full black? It's the only reason I'm not using the dark mode, because it causes some eye strain for me.

     @pixelfed @dansup here's an example of what I might by a dark shade of gray and not full black. I have a custom userstyle for pixelfed.social, because I like browsing it with the dark mode on but the default is too dark and causes me eye strain
