   @aetataureate uurgh, this was such a mess. Not to in any way excuse some of Lotte's tactics in his defence, but their dynamic together, especially his proprietary touching and steering of her at public events, unnerved the hell out of me, because I recognise that relationship dynamic and it's a giant red flag. I remain concerned for her long term well being, for all that I'm sure she'd say there was no problem at all.

     I don't know how we pull apart the risk of suicide (something I never want anyone to do) from when people are accused of abuse. But I find it disgusting, still, that she minimized how the women felt while holding up that they caused him (she called this "cyberbullying") to have these feelings. She made such powerful "gaslight gatekeep girlboss" moves during that time and such cringingly bad arguments against other women.

     In 2019, my creative hero, Alexis Kennedy, was accused of sexual misconduct at work by a number of women who said they felt stifled by his power and influence when he came onto them around professional events and contexts. I was revisiting his partner Lottie's writings at the time and she mentions that he "nearly killed himself."
