   Because routine is important, I'm declaring the inaugural #ShirtCheckSunday.

   Here's the deal: every Sunday, I'm going to put on a nice tee/shirt and share it with that hashtag, and I'd love to see yours.

   Band shirts are traditional, but I'm more than happy to see geek tees, or - get this - actual fashion sense.

   You can just post a pic, or share a bit more about it. Faces not required, use the hashtag if you like, reply as you like, admire one another's tees. 🖤

   They make anti-fascist black metal, dark ambient, crust and blackened metalcore. Tom is one of the hardest working people in #metal.

   Also, does anyone have stats on the exact percentage of German metal people called Tom? There seem to be a lot of you.

   The shirt is further evidence that, if you're an RABM band that prints black-white-gold tees, I will buy them.

   Trying to avoid eye contact with today's pic, which looks inadvertently dramatic.

     Actually, I was wearing this shirt in Aldi once, and a kid (maybe 6-8 years old?) came up to me and said he thought it was a cool shirt. :D

     I don't wear much interesting shirts these days, so I'm sharing this pic from the 90s, when I was like?? 16 years old or something.

     Orphanage was a cool band, metal with backing vocals and organs and stuff like that. Recommend!

     @Jorsh Iconic. My current favourite lounging shirt is from Non Serviam's Work album - the print's getting a little flaky, and if I only wear it two hours a day after my evening shower, the idea is that I don't have to wash it so often!

     @ghosttie I missed this because it came in after I'd gone to bed, but that actually is a nice logo.

     (I read the book, thought it was an okay bit of light entertainment, appreciated the Ultima references, and was then shocked at the obvious effort to turn the whole thing into some kind of cultural phenomenon.)
