   > Superfest, also called CV-Glas[1] or Ceverit[2] until 1980, was a brand of drinking glasses in the GDR. Due to being made of chemically strengthened glass, they were almost unbreakable. The Superfest glasses were produced between 1980 and 1990 in what was then State-owned Sachsenglas Schwepnitz.

     @kaia Didn't know chemically strengthened glass was a thing, only knew about tempered glass (as used by Duralex and Pyrex).

     @kaia @Jain the logic is the same for any market action, if this aspect would dominate, there would be zero satisfactory products in a market economy. The ingredient that prevents this is competition.

     @kaia And I guess for Gorilla® Glass they made it breakable due to making it basically paper thin (like worse than your typical wine glass).
