     And it just switched on and off for 30 second after a new phonecall came in.
     
     So it recorded the user/pass pairs. All you do is run the headphones back through a modem and voila.

     A mate of mine had done the electronics work on the bugging device, and it had a tape component. He'd tested it at home talking to me.
     
     Then when he gave it to me, just flipped the tape over.
     
     So there I was standing in my kitchen with 2 federal agents listening to myself complaining about my gf at the time.

     The thing that’s lame about the whole everyone is a fed ever thing is that it waters down actual concerns or threats of Feds.
