     @white_male @sickburnbro I think the point is the prevalence of what VoxDay called "Gamma" or "secret king" behavior is the default in pop culture, and we need to model aspirational stuff so people can see how an example besides [Dweeb outsmarts jock and saves the day]. The normalization of revenge of the nerds type stuff is an external social signal to low effort dweebs that they don't need to try, when reality is the opposite.

     @sickburnbro @white_male My schizo father drilled into my head the idea of "don't fight with shit, because you'll get covered in it", which sounded really profound and ascendant to my 10 yo brain.
     Putting it into practice, however, yielded terrible results, and only after many humiliating encounters had I realized how big of an inept retard that man is, despite the few nuggets of real wisdom he imparted unto me.
     
     You don't get to decide who is your enemy, that's their choice to make.
