Martin Piper (he/him) 💙💛🌻💉 (martin_piper@mastodon.social)'s status on Wednesday, 08-May-2024 20:20:16 JST Martin Piper (he/him) 💙💛🌻💉 @emilygorcenski yes, which is not technical reply data. So actually trying to abuse GDPR for this purpose will mean it removes any attribution to the original technical answer. This means the technical answer remains and there would not even need to be attribution.
That rather makes it *more likely* that the technical answer is used for AI, not less likely. -

Martin Piper (he/him) 💙💛🌻💉 (martin_piper@mastodon.social)'s status on Wednesday, 08-May-2024 20:25:13 JST Martin Piper (he/him) 💙💛🌻💉 @emilygorcenski people seem to be trying to remove the technical answers with these GDPR requests. That will not work.
It actually benefits Stackoverflow because they won't have to track attribution for those answers.
It's abuse in as far as GDPR was never meant to apply to technical content, only personally identifiable data.
