Warner Crocker (warnercrocker@mastodon.social)'s status on Wednesday, 08-May-2024 02:12:29 JST Warner Crocker @Sumocat @stroughtonsmith I think that’s probably accurate. But it feels like a shift in marketing as well. Have some hardware features released andready to go and in devices before software/future hardware is ready to take advantabge of it. But I’m just guessing.

Sumocat 🐈⬛ (sumocat@mastodon.world)'s status on Wednesday, 08-May-2024 02:32:30 JST Sumocat 🐈⬛ @WarnerCrocker @stroughtonsmith That is how Apple operates. Any new feature shown at the WWDC keynote will run on existing hardware. Features that require new hardware aren’t mentioned until the hardware is announced.
