The Romans had zero issue with abortion or infanticide. Romans saw a baby akin to a plant until 30~90 days after birth. Excavated brothels in the Roman empire had piles of infant bones buried under them.
It was only because of the Jews (and later the Christians) that parts of Rome started passing laws (that were rarely enforced) banning abortion (and not until after 200AD). The entire concept that a fetus was a human being came directly from the pre-Christian Jews!
Going back to the tweet, it shows this guy literally doesn't know his own culture's history.
