the Nantucket Current has been chronicling the first cybertruck on the island and is making fun of them parking like a dick. this is the reason a free press is crucial to democracy.

there once was a douche from Nantucket,
who parked his new truck and said “fuck it.”
he tried off-roading on sand,
it got out of hand,
now his cybertruck’s stuck and can’t budge it.

@Npars01 @Blinxeto @samhenrigold I can’t count the number of conversations I had in 2020 explaining how the red state governments were covering up massive numbers of Covid deaths. Texas and Florida in particular. CNN went right along with their bogus numbers, even though their case/death ratios were obviously completely bogus. Recall that DeSantis fired his statistician, told lies, and even threatened to have her arrested for trying to get the truth out.

Concealing the true toll of letting a pandemic run amok is one reason why Republican megadonors are funding the GOP to win at all cost.

They don't want scientific studies, DOJ investigations, or Congressional hearings on how over 1.2 million Americans died of covid, or will die of long covid in future.

Especially before they try to get their deluded hordes to vote Republican yet again.

Sociopaths are normally hard to identify.

They tend to out themselves in a crisis.
