   My M1 iPad Pro is only three years old so I won’t be updating this year but as someone who has chosen the iPad as a primary computer of course I’m interested in where the hardware and OS are going. I post often that I think most Apple pundits are wrong on the iPad most of the time because they want it to be a Mac. It’s not and I hope it never is.      @dennyhenke Let iPads be iPads. If they turned them into iPads that could be Macs there wouldn’t be anything for the prevailing pundit wisdom keepers to complain about.

     I -would- buy a Smart Keyboard to use with I, but that would never be my primary use. I’d say my use cases lean eclectic.

     @Chancerubbage @dennyhenke So do mine. I’ve never looked for a one device solution. I prefer choosing the right tool for the job at hand.

     The iPad lends itself to multiple niches
