   Hah, I wanted to share this article from It's FOSS News on here but don't want to cause the issue they describe in it, so I won't link to it directly.

   They only mention #Mastodon in this article, but would this not be a wider issue on most #fediverse platforms?

     @xepher @kyonshi @beastman not widely known, but long known by the people that need to know, yet they've done nothing about it. It's been known as an issue by Eugen since 2017...🤦♂️

     @xepher @beastman @BeAware the problem is mostly academic until you actually get an article that gets widely shared. then it becomes pretty acute pretty quickly for smaller sites
