   @Griffith @Spingebill @Hoss There are companies that log activity with timestamps including screenshots of processes and active windows, some up to the level of "every keystroke and mouse click". Worse than that are the ones that force you to join a "virtual meeting" where you sit in a zoom or teams call on camera all day so that they can snoop on you. I wouldn't work for a company where somebody was recording my every move in an office, so why would I tolerate that for the "convenience" of saving 10 hours a week? It's gross.

     @brimshae @Griffith @Hoss @Spingebill Heck no! I don't even like putting proprietary token generators on my personal phone. There was one company I worked with that requested I use some type of phone software that could monitor how proprietary or company data was used on my phone (basically to make sure I wasn't stealing stuff) in order to use their email on my phone. The description was very vague as to what it could access or how it worked, so guess who didn't have email on his phone? Not worth it.

     If you're doing the super spied on work from home route for whatever get an absolute dogshit used computer that can't handle the load of doing the work and the spyware. ''I don't know, my spreadsheet software works just fine, but when I run SuperRookit 9001 my comphter gets real loud."
     
     Consider also a footpedal switch that either pingfloods the spyware's server or does othee cheeky shit.

     @brimshae @Griffith @Hoss @Spingebill I should also mention all these companies just give you a laptop with varying levels of security including VPN requirements for certain work, so it's not like you can even cheese it that way. Regardless, I'm not going to be on camera where I'm gonna be me monitored 8 hours a day and micromanaged. It's dumb as heck either way since end results should be all that matters.
