     @sun That's an important point. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, I was dropping some of my books into the after hours return slot. A month or two later, I'd see many of the same titles on the "friends of the library" sale table.
     
     Which was frustrating, as one local branch seemed not to have bought a book in a decade.

     @sun @berkberkman bookbinding is a fun hobby. I have yet to get into hardcovers yet though.
     If you want to see some good tutorials, DAS Bookbinding on youtube is my favorite one, just an old guy in his shop, and not some cat lady hot gluing printer paper.
