I didn't speak for more than five years. I withdrew into myself and never shook that feeling of betrayal. Consequently couldn't develop meaningful relationships because I just didn't trust anyone.

  Not just the divorce itself but all the fighting that happens before it too. I developed PTSD because of my parents fighting. It was violent, loud yelling, throwing items and breaking them, slamming doors so hard they splintered.

I grew up watching these people never have any money despite both of them working 40+ hours a week. Like how does this level of ignorance and mismanagement occur????
  
  I read everything in my hometown library. I have the ability to do anything I want. I also have more money than they do.
