   4: who in their right mind would buy a shirt for 2k ? shirt can be made in tons of stuff include weeds like Cannabis or Stinging nettle, who virtually cost less than anything.

     @mrsaturday @mangeurdenuage @mushroom_soup my experience has also been that expensive clothes don't last as long either, they often are assembled pretty poorly. usually "stylish" clothes, there are also rich-people clothes that cost a lot that don't look fancy at all but are high quality.

     @dragnucs @mushroom_soup @mangeurdenuage it's tricky in christianity because on a couple of occasions Jesus Himself said things that fairly clearly indicate being wealthy is a problem.

     @sun @mushroom_soup @mangeurdenuage de van argue about waring expensive cloth, but not that a pastor should not wear expensive cloth. As analogy Muslims would not mind if an Imam or sheikh is wealthy. It is true that religious people should show modesty and not be extravagant but it does not mean they cannot have nice things.
