Very very few photographers developed their own colour film.
@Badger that first picture looks artificially saturated, but specifically on the woman's and the store's colours. The photographer must have played it with it during the development, don't you think?

These are 50 year old film photographs, possibly made with different film stocks, possibly developed by different labs.
They've been digitised, and we don't know whether the digitisation is from prints (which may have been done by different printers on different paper) or from negatives, or from slide stock, and how old the film was when it was digitised and thus whether its deteriorated.
And we're all viewing them on screens with different characteristics.
@botvolution @Badger you could be right, I have no technical background to argue. But wouldn't you agree that there's a colour saturation inconsistency between the bottom and top halves of the picture?
Trying to establish why one looks different is a fools errand, unless we have access to full context and the original materials.
