   @radiojammor it was within a Guardian article. I then Googled it and found lots of links that state the legal age of marriage in the UK as 18. Most have "UK" in the headline and England and Wales in the text. Some like this one, stick with UK in the text and have a one liner about Scotland being different hidden in the middle.

     I was surprised to read that the age you can marry in the UK has recently been raised to 18.
     That doesn't seem to be true.

     @peterbrown @radiojammor The bit I don't understand is why they say they want Scotland to be part of the UK when they clearly don't even know what the UK is.
