The average sauerkraut recipe has only a few ingredients. The average kimchi recipe has more and those extra ingredients add more flavors to it.

  That's partially true depending on the circumstances but that's her mother, part of being an adult is accepting less than ideal circumstances and overcoming them, which includes forgiving ppl that have wronged you.

  I know a lot more marine lore and it could be understandable why her mum didn't approve of some choices. It really just depends on the circumstances, but your family is your family. It sometimes is best tho but it's hard to tell because sometimes ppl interpret things as wrong when it was actually well intentioned even if your parents are incapable of effective communication.

  @Tony @phoenix @creamqueen @bot @kroner admittedly, that’s what i was trying to do. I had a new phone number that she didn’t know. Blocked her on social media, etc.
  My dad in his infinite drunkenness gave her the phone number and she called me from a number I didn’t recognize, but from the area code, was pretty obvious it was one of her fake number schemes.
  She said she’s only gonna call for holidays and I’m holding her to it. If she calls me outside of that. It’s an Immediate block again unless it’s something like my dad’s dead or whatever.

  Well, when I was 8, she beat me with a baseball bat over something that went missing and that she believed i stole (i didn’t, it was found on the floor later that day)
  She kicked me in the chest when I was 10 over my clothing choices being “sloppy”
  She drug me by my hair through our apartment because i told her pulling my hair back hurt.
  There’s honestly worse shit that happened I’m not putting online but here’s some good examples
