Sexy Moon (moon@shitposter.club)'s status on Saturday, 30-Mar-2024 00:02:34 JST Sexy Moon Just got kicked in the teeth by an Elixir library missing features again. This is a regular occurrence. For the kind of work I am doing, I am constantly having to fill in functionality gaps. -

\\ (slash@cdrom.tokyo)'s status on Saturday, 30-Mar-2024 00:55:39 JST \\ @Moon is this work taking the form of upstream contributions to that library? If so I guess at least there’s the consolation that the next person to pull it into their project has at least a bit less frustration thanks to your efforts.

Sexy Moon (moon@shitposter.club)'s status on Saturday, 30-Mar-2024 00:57:53 JST Sexy Moon @slash it turns out their library didn't add any value over just capturing stdout from ffprobe myself and parsing it as json. -
