     @mjf_pro I'm constantly watching and as I'd pledged to our users will do anything required as the admin to protect them appropriate to what we see ...including de-federation should it be the nuclear option required -- if no other more surgical options would protect our users.

     So far in the earliest of days - not one ticket relating to any Threads federated users, here - but keeping a close, close watch.

     @tchambers Where Meta ends up on the “Is it Facebook or is it Gab” continuum will ultimately be the dispositive factor, in my opinion. If the GLAAD report isn’t hyperbolizing, then the lean toward “Gab, but with a shit-ton of lipstick” is unmistakeable. If that’s where the facts point, then the need to be proactive for the safety of our own marginalized communities here may be the best choice from a bunch of terrible options.

     @tchambers @mjf_pro So far I suspect the fact that it's follow-only from fedi -> Threads is keeping things pretty chill. May be more of a challenge once there's engagement in the opposite direction.
