     It was never used for spam. It uses a built-in 30 minute timer between posts and a slowly incrementing 10 minute timer between checking notifications.

     I mean, "out of its way" is a bit of an exaggeration. It would just scan the federated timeline every half an hour (that's if it wasn't using camouflage.

     In fact, it was less intrusive than the 2,000+ Markov bots because it didn't infect threads by getting confused and replying to every post that mentioned it, just ones in direct reply.

     @Kirino @lonelyowl13 @ChristiJunior @MK2boogaloo @Zergling_man honestly it's comparable to something like nigbot imo, I didn't mind it nor flamer but other people did and sysrq happened to start fucking with it because he found it annoying, I can kind of see where he's coming from there.
     
     Though obviously a deletion probably would've been enough
