     is not the best app but it works.
     
     you can save your thread in your browser session and resume later
     also you can attach 1 picture in every post
     
     and when you are ready you can publish the thread with one click
     
     I would like to have more time to improve it but time ... you know

     Typefully.com did a whole lot to make threads easy to write on Twitter, and now supports Mastodon, too.

     (Still X first and foremost, plus LinkedIn and GPT, and $$, but their writing UI _is_ good)

     @evan I'm still sort of hoping that in the Fediverse, Mastodon is for microblogging, and for longer texts there are other platforms that can simply boost into Mastodon. Why spoil that idea when, in addition, Mastodon can't quite handle threads neatly.

     @evan this is something I would have expected @trunksapp or @phanpy to do and do well but I'm sad to say they don't.

     The only one I've used that does is Fedilab, but I haven't used it in about 6 months.
