   i don't get how i can not shower for days in the field and be like perfectly fine the entire time and not care (of course, finally coming home and doing that shower is better than sex) but the moment i skip a shower just cuz i can wfh or something i feel so absolutely shitty and gross like the entire day

     random, the most poignant example from my memory of the above "cant smell stinky if everyone stinky" is one time i got back to basecamp with my trek group and all of us immediately ran to the showers except for the lead, he had to go check in at the office, and then we got back to our little hut and literally kicked him out to shower because we couldn't stand how bad he was....even tho we didn't care just 20 mins prior.
