@Mance_Majors @Godcast seems probable but another factor to consider is just how pozzed the LDS has become since the 70s. they've become preoccupied with progressive signaling for decades now, likely to try to make up for their longstanding church policies towards blacks.

no it doesnt, this is just identify which groups have reduced religiousity, and the genetic changes that reduced religiousity also increased incidence of homosexuality and particularly identification as homisexual. theres no reason to assume they were memed into being gay anymore than to assume gays are memed into being more lefthanded

Bullshit. 1/5 zoomers self identify as LGBT. That's memetic propagation if I've ever seen it, and if not, it should be the biggest area getting loads of scientific funding because of what it means. Proclivities may be epigenetic, but nobody is born gay and passing on their gay genes through butt blasting. This is indoctrination, propaganda, grooming, kids going with the crowd to finally get some unearned notoriety and protections, pornography induced gender dysphoria, and maybe environmental effects from xenoestrogens aka microplastics.

@gav @BowsacNoodle @doctorsex The trouble with information like this is that the survey asks for self identification, not whether someone prefers to participate in homosexual sex. "Gay," "LBGTWTF," etc. to the average young person these days are cultural identifiers, not necessarily statements of sexual preference. Identifying as some variety of sexual deviant confers social status.
Two sides of the same coin are otherwise normal teenagers identifying as "non-binary," and a nigger like Tariq Nasheed who will suck every dick in a room but insist he's not gay. To blacks, "gay" is a cultural identifiers, specifically a White one. It's why the sociological term "men who have sex with men" or "MSM" exists.
Later in the thread you mention you're skeptical that porn can induce homosexuality. There's vanishingly little research into this topic (for obvious reasons), but I can tell you from nearly a decade of ministry work that porn absolutely does warp your sexuality. At the root of just about every person who troons out is a porn addiction and an identification with (and thus a desire to become) the female in porn.

We put on a marriage seminar at church. This past Sunday I got a definitive answer to something I had long suspected, but didn't want to research. Porn gives men ED.
I remember when viagra first came on the market, they were using old fogeys like Bob Dole to hawk it. Now the ads feature guys that look like they're in their early 30's at the oldest.
The presenter said that men in their 20's are taking ED puke because their bodies are ruined.

Addiction is the state of feeling compelled to perform some biologically unnecessary activity. Generally we think of addicts as something like a heroin junkie who's so desperate for a fix they'll debase themselves. That's the most extreme example, but even something relatively trivial like a coffee habit is an addiction, though obviously far less deleterious to your health and less difficult to quit.
No, we'd still address the troon problem the same way. Exploring root causes is very useful, but not strictly necessary.

Escalating doses are also required to achieve the same effect, and this can lead to the formation of sexual paraphilias. Same as with any other progressive addiction.

Meanwhile the control groups for studying this— men who never have used pornography— is EFFECTIVELY ZERO % OF THE POPULATION. "Gee I wonder if there's damage. Oh well impossible to know lol!"
