   People can’t even grasp the concept of a billionaire. It just feels “rich” to them. But put it in terms of time:

   1 million seconds is 12 days
   1 billion seconds is 32 years

   That’s what an obscene amount of money a billion dollars is.

     Also, the whole "eat the rich" thing comes from a world view that accepts scarcity as valid. We don't have any shortage of non-eew food to eat. We have artificial scarcity imposed by their behaviors.

     @lispi314 @JoeMcConn @aburtch I always read an overtone of "if we don't have enough to eat because they've impoverished us, let's eat their meat". Not as a serious plan, but with that being part of the "logic". And I feel like it jives with an oldschool communist outlook that still believes in scarcity and admires production, just disagreeing with capitalists on how it's run, rather than a post-scarcity worldview.

     @dalias @aburtch @JoeMcConn I thought it was a justice/vindictiveness thing. Not a literal concern with needing cannibalism.
