I do know many Americans who are very upset at Biden, for very valid & various reasons & they're voting against him in primaries to try & send msg to Democrats that Biden needs to change course on a few things - biggest is allegiance to Israel - or risk losing a lot of support in more than just Muslim populations. Biden partisan supporters are ostracizing ppl they need to fight for democracy.

     In fact, I'd say that most of those on the Indy Left who are the fiercest critics of Democrats FROM THE LEFT are the ones most targeted by the Republicans and Rightists like Trumpster for marginalization.

     Their criticism of the Democrats is NOT that they are the same as Republicans, although the establishment of the Dems seems to be moving rightward at such a steady clip that they are dangerously close to apeing Reaganite Republicans.

     Rather, the main issue that Indy Leftists have with the Democrats, and especially the "progressives" pursuing the "insider" approach of reforming the party from within, is that there have been simply paltry results in terms of actual policy changes that have not even put a dent in the broader turn to the Right amongst the most privileged and institutionalized Democrats.

     Pressure from within has not worked, but no one has developed any strategy elsewhere.

     I'm really talking about the politicians like Lynn Cheney here, not so much the GOP base voter.

     I don't mean "moderate" in the actual sense of political ideology.

     "Moderate" in the sense of their position on the American political spectrum as compared to the Trumpster/Alt-Right "movement conservatives".

     The idea that conservative Dems have is to integrate these "neoconservatives" into their party as a counterweight to the liberals.

     I really do think that most folks now understand that.

     The Democratic Party establishment & its most fervent base voters, though, are so blinded by fear (or envy) of Trumpster & the Right's successes in transforming the political system that they feel no recourse but to defend the status quo as the only practical alternative to total right-wing control.

     Of course, this ends up rewarding the most conservative faction of the party, which undermines any chance of progressive change...
