@Cousin_Isobel@Sherri_Ingrey@FeartnTired@ChasingWaterfalls@GalacticTurtle Most mothers promote what they have been brainwashed to promote by the patriarchy.. and the education system is all part of that.. and the women who are anti abortion and pro the the trans bowel movement are spewing out nothing more than a male supremacist ideology.. and maybe one day they will escape that
Women long hoped for a vote, hoped for a vote so their voices could be heard politically and in reality the only voices being heard are men's & men's ideas because that is what women are brainwashed with..
@EmmaFaber@Sherri_Ingrey@FeartnTired@ChasingWaterfalls@GalacticTurtle Okay, now we're getting to a point of agreement. It has sadly turned out (at least for now) that women getting to vote, run for office, etc., is not bringing pro-woman ideas or policies into the public discourse.
We can argue about how much personal responsibility women should be expected to take for supporting such awful, misogynistic ideas. I'll take a little of the brainwashing argument with a hefty portion of, "Dammit, sister, stand up!"
Six-in-ten Republicans and those who lean toward the Republican Party (60%) say abortion should be illegal in all or most cases. By contrast, 80% of Democrats and those who lean toward the Democratic Party say abortion should be legal in all or most cases.
Women who need abortions today can't wait for 5 years to pass by before they are allowed to get them again..
It's a very difficult situation. Those of us who would like to send our kids to public schools without gender identity indoctrination and without boys in the girls' locker rooms (can you imagine -- middle school?) can't really wait, either -- certainly not years. I won't be a part of either form of misogyny.
@Sherri_Ingrey@EmmaFaber@FeartnTired@ChasingWaterfalls@GalacticTurtle They are undeterred because we haven't hit them hard enough during elections. All they've learned is not to talk about it too much. This is not what they campaign on, at least not in my area. They campaign on abortion.
These people are insane. Listen to this:
“The main obstacle is that you have a Republican conference beholden to its most extreme members and, of course, the former president,” said Rep. Becca Balint (D-Vt.), referring to Trump.
She thinks it is "extreme" not to want a nationwide ban on all single-sex spaces. This is how nuts they are.
