     and it either gets bought up and taken out of my family forever by may or june, or i'm expected to let hte bank own it again for the next 30 or so years

     @TimeSpent @givenup @DEERBLOOD There's only so much land on earth. IMO buying land with any resources (decent size, water source, trees, hill, etc.) is worth it. You can buy a cheap RV to live there while you build a house or a proper single/double wide if you don't have the energy, time, skill, or willpower. There's so many ways to build a legit house even entirely solo, such as rammed earth, log cabins, barndominium, etc.
