Just had kaleidoscope vision for the first time (had no idea what was going on until I googled it), in the middle of an online lesson. I couldn't even read things on my screen so we ended it early. No headache or anything else. Wtf?

It went away after about 20 minutes thankfully. Has anyone had this happen before?

@tramtrist Thanks for sharing. It's reassuring to hear that. I'm drinking water and chatting with my MIL doctor about it now.

@BootsChantilly That's reassuring. Seems like it's more common than I thought!

@Dana I’ve dealt with that all my life—it just happens occasionally. No pain, just the sparkles going round & round. Goes away within 10 minutes or so.

@Dana Yes. I had a few incidents of this over about five years. Haven’t had any in about the past five years though. I couldn’t really connect them to any cause. Happened once while I was standing on the train, once while just sitting at my desk at work. Never any other physical symptoms — including headaches. I asked my eye doctor about them and she confirmed that the phenomenon is in the brain and not the eyes. (This is all in Tokyo.)
