   Most people I talk to irl are extremely wary of troonism, they don't like kids being groomed or men playing womens sports or this state mandated pronoun enforcement. I swear all the people that are obsessed with destroying people's lives over it are only on Twitter. At least it seems that way.

     @Economic_Hitman A lot of the time they're the ones that start the conversation, their buddies or coworkers bring something up to them that's non PC and they don't know how to handle it because they still have normie sensibilities so they need to see if other people believe the same things so they don't feel guilty. I never judge anyone for bringing up these topics and try to present myself as a person they can trust with unsayable thoughts.

     Sometimes you have to play "power level chicken" with people to get them to open up. I'll say something that's laden with dogwhistles and look for the way they respond. Sime people will make very weak apologetic responses for the regime position, because they're not used to being able to speak freely.

     Sometimes that's all it takes for a person to relax and say what they mean.

     @PraxisOfEvil @Economic_Hitman I just start with light hearted jokes and throw in some spicy ones, gets them every time. there's a local election coming up and there's some bitch running against the incumbent guy, so off the cuff I gave him the slogan "every vote for X is a vote against women in politics" and we all clinked monster cans

     I suppose the last opportunity I had like this was when I got a shuttle ride home from the car dealership. I moved to a distant suburb a couple years ago and this little town is known for keeping a vestige of Americana alive in its old downtown. The guy giving me a ride was born and raised in the area so I was asking him how much has this place changed. I could tell he was disappointed, but didn't know how to ask him why. He claimed they want to build a Disneyland here.

     @Economic_Hitman I've said it before but most of the time all you can do is plant the seed, I simply tell them that people our society deems victims are the real ones in power and let them put the pieces together. Some will reject this message, but others grab on.
