I suppose the last opportunity I had like this was when I got a shuttle ride home from the car dealership. I moved to a distant suburb a couple years ago and this little town is known for keeping a vestige of Americana alive in its old downtown. The guy giving me a ride was born and raised in the area so I was asking him how much has this place changed. I could tell he was disappointed, but didn't know how to ask him why. He claimed they want to build a Disneyland here.
