Why are Progressives so good at fighting amongst themselves, and totally missing the mark at what they should be fighting against?

If so, then I agree, we cant afford to fuck around like this.

So while I certainly cant speak for how big of a trend it is, I can say I have seen it in droves personally.
I can even say I've been so deeply hurt by other democrats despite the fact that I voted for obama and have quite voted democrat in the past I have decided I can no longer support them moving forward given the deplorable way they treat people. While I also cant in good conscious vote Trump I can say it certainly has lost my democrat vote.

I don't think that the toxicity drives anyone to be conservative, but may throw their hands up and give up on everything.I agree with you that there should be tolerance for nuance, since reflexive abrasiveness is very off-putting and counter productive if we need as many people as possible to win elections.

The problem is it often **looks** like it is everyone simply because they are the loudest and most memorable. Thats part of the problem, even when a few of a group do it it ruins it for the entire group.

I was under the assumption that Dem-leaning voters would either sit out or vote third party. I voted for HRC knowing she could lose and received the toxic behavior from VBNMW. I live in CT and so won't be swinging my state's ECVs by voting for 3rd party, will still get the same abrasive treatment for being a crypto-Trump supporter as I did when I voted for the Dem nom in '16 as I get for voting for the Greens.Lesson needed to be learnt:
More flies w/ honey than vinegar
