     It's not so much about shine, but the fact that serifs are hard to read at certain sizes.

     @Vo @camedei456 @coolboymew @GlitchyZorua I like monospace serif (specially as the one on Sparc and Solaris got a special place in my heart) but at 10px I find that not everything in serif is better. (Did that with iosevka)
     
     And monospace fonts regardless of serifs still have strong characters disambiguation.

     Well, maybe I'm biased. I was raised on IRC, learned to code, have had a lifetime of mistakes transcribing ambiguous passwords, etc., and I'm not a lawyer/paralegal/editor.

     Monospace serif gang.
