     (And I use regexes quite often, because Unix)

     @piggo @cmdr_nova At the same time it was absolutely unusable because it was in a ~40 chars wide text entry.
     
     And regex horribly suck as oneliners.

     @lanodan @cmdr_nova mastodon used to have this, built in. then i think they killed it because it was too useful^W^W^W^Wtwitter users couldn't understand it

     @cmdr_nova Will never forget one a reply on of the first posts I ever made on bluesky, lamenting that it didn't have polls. It was some computer toucher explaining that Actually you can make polls if you follow a process which requires a PhD in computer science to undertake
