@randahl I have said in another post about this how worrying I find it that book burning has become a vote winner in the US ,regardless of the "side" your on politically its always historically been a sign of worse things to come,censorship and as you say next its people.Because theres no point burning peoples expression of their belifes and thought if your going to leave them freedom of speech and dont remove the source of their ideas by destroying the people.Thats how its always gone

@freemo @randahl there is more to it than that. instagram is literally where sex traffickers groom children. those posts are not "free speech" bruh they are child abuse and a criminal offense. one is not like the other. the democrats are right to shut down avenues for child exploitation. the two things are genuinely not comparable.

Citation needed. In my state, the Republicans are the ones passing laws about social media that are getting slapped down by federal courts for being unconstitutional. Same in Texas and (iirc) Missouri.
Where are dems trying to pass laws to take down protected speech from social media?
