   I am so sorry that because of widespread denial - both inside and outside of the medical profession - you are burdened both with increased physical risk and serious moral injury, to boot. 💔

   Speaking for myself, you have significantly helped me personally on more than one occasion of which you are unaware, and I'm sure that's true of others on here. Add that to the plus column.

     Every day includes at least one new harrowing example of how this is Plague Times.

     Yesterday it was Kawasakis being missed, increasing the fatality rate for this girl from 2-3% to 50/50 chance of making it to 6 years old.

     Today, I was simply given notice that the patient had to cancel after a 6mo wait to see me because their recurrent respiratory illnesses wont go away.

     If its weighing on me, its weighing on primary care docs, nurses, etc.

     Please wear a mask.
