Problem is, we didnt win the civil war. We let the cancer of racism, injustice, & hate fester, secondarily metastasize.
Not a 2nd Civil War, instead a continuation of the imperial-colonial project where self appointed rich white blobs pit us against one another & make passive $.
Only total repossession of their plunder & deconstruction of the racist state is curative.
A lot of very serious ppl chide the left as immature or pipe dreamers.
What I love about EBM / "Future-pop" / Hybrid techno EDM industrial is the sheer breadth of talent that I can discard an artist if they, say, hire a Nazi (Funker Vogt), or are borne out of a trauma reaction to 9/11 that may be misguided, (Terrorfakt), or misogynistic (Combichrist), or "sick of radicalization" aka bothsidesist clowns (Flesh Field).
If someone puts an album called "Make America Graves Again" and then in an interview claims to not be political, hey I see you out there, threading that needs-a-label-yet-hates-rightwingism needle.
Over here buying a security system because of my occupational hazard of,
"having to make diagnostic decisions & disallow certain medications that can be misused (or exacerbate severe mental illness) to fall into the hands of individuals already paranoid & abusing ketamine."
Thanks to TruePeopleSearch and other total horseshit People Finder services, I'm easily hunted down and killed if someone is motivated.
It's quite astonishing these predatory services are legal.
Please note: TheGuardian's framing here is very, very fashy, "Tip of an iceberg, you know, the thing that wrecked the Titanic and is a maritime killer."
TheGuardian COULD say: preliminary data suggests abortion access more integral to women's health than previous thought, mifepristone particularly vital.
I am a strong FAFO proponent. FAFO is the literal fucking essence of learning, growing (as in personally and in one's decision making, not the capitalist defintiion of cancerous growth), or at least facing consequences for inability to do so.
Millenials having "little to no loyalty in the workplace" is a sign of *progress*, not concern, you fucking deliberately obtuse coercive capitalist fucks.
I provide said citation that accrues data of year over year changes in murder trends going back to 1905.
Some Czech Reply Guy: "i'd be careful with that, it's an election year and people will try to say all sorts of things and I saw that crime generally has been down."
Wow.
What a tour de force in being a dumbass & tossing about red herrings.
If someone is going to have a specific complaint, have a specific line of argument for said complaint. Otherwise, if it's fucking 115 years of data from Pew Research, just move the fuck along asshole.
Why you oppose TikTok's ban & #KOSA at all costs (besides decency re the latter)
Trying to shore up the republic during its early, crisis-ridden years, the government introduced post-publication censorship. In the early 1930s, press freedom was threatened further as rule by decree became the norm: Chancellor Brüning suspended the publication of newspapers for brief periods of time on 284 occasions,
...while his successor, Franz von Papen, banned 95 in a considerably shorter time, half of them publications run by the Communist or Social Democratic Party. Such precedents made it easy for the Nazis to ‘co-ordinate’ the media when they came to power in 1933.
Let me tell you something: there's NOTHING WRONG with asserting yourself.
If you have to elevate your voice to do so, commensurate with the noise and the inflexibility of a broken system, do it. That's called using effective communication skills.
Just the usual chiding of MyChart message screeners:
Is there any reason I was limited to an 8 day supply of Vyvanse when:
- I've taken it since 2006, - I'm a partnered Psychiatrist, - there's NO limit whatsoever on virtual mental status exam prescribing of controlled substances as per DEA as of 05/11/2023, - if I run out of the medication, I will have to cancel my clinics with MY patients -- in other words, the patients YOU send to me for psychiatric care?
Ive tried to be patient with this entire process, but since <<physician>> left, I've received nothing but barriers to a 90 day prescription , something that has been covered by <<my>> insurance for several years now, as well as roadblocks on MyChart every single time in terms of communicating with my doctor.
If there *is* a shortage, my preference is to wait until the 90 day supply is available as piecemeal is complicated and requires multiple trips when I'm seeing patients.
It is also not a policy of our department - Psychiatry - that controlled substances are ONLY refilled with a scheduled follow-up. I filled 19 today and I don't see them for a couple of months. If that's a policy of the FM department, that's simply a barrier of care for the sake of there being a barrier to care.
