     If y'all are seriously starting to understand that it's fascism now, that's a good thing, but you also need to grasp what that MEANS. These capitalists? These corporations? The ones donating to fascist candidates and hiring fascist commentators? They're not making mistakes mate. They're betting on fascism. Because the people who own them want fascism. And they want fascism because "huge tax cut" and also "this is how we save capitalism even as the planet boils and billions die."

     Yes, pretty much? Do you know what fascists are without institutional support and all the filthy lucre? Street nazis. Are street nazis dangerous? Sure, they might kill you, they do violence, it's sort of their thing.

     But street nazis can't take over political parties, and news networks, and buy up all the corporations. Without the ruling class, specifically nazi billionaires, street nazis CANNOT obtain the power, to do fascism at scale.

     Maybe not, but your faves? Worship money and power. Normalize and fete anyone with money and power. Well who got all the money and power? Yeah rich people currently PAYING to install fascism.

     So even the parts of your precious capitalist society that are OSTENSIBLY against fascism? Owe their fealty to fascists, people paying for fascism, and people happy to collaborate with fascists.

     And most importantly here you need to understand that there is a larger force working on this whole situation. It's capitalism or a planet that supports 8B people. The ruling class knows it. So eventually, even the ones who aren't nazis are going to be faced with a choice - fascism, or the end of capitalism. This is their way of life. This is what gives them power and relevance. They are NOT going to pick "smaller, less money/power, sharing." Even your faves. They will pick fascism. They are now

     Finally, you're going to argue with me. You will say "it's not a binary; fascism and capitalism are not the same thing." And in a world that wasn't on fire, you might have a point. But newsflash? Billions of people do not go off the cliff like lemmings, so a few thousand greedbags can keep doing capitalism. Why fascism? Because fascism means YOU don't get a choice. You can't have "democracy" when the PLAN is to slaughter billions to keep doing capitalism on a boiling planet for money.

     I'm sorry; I was right. I was right ten years ago when I finally put it all together and nothing has changed since then. I didn't totally understand who was on what side, that I learned as I went just like you do. But materially, I was correct about what the future was going to look like based on the material realities we were facing.

     I wish I wasn't. But here we are. If you're going to stop fascism, that means you're going to stop this ruling class, which means the end of capitalism. Period.

     We simply ran out of planet. And so many people have spent the last 10 years of accusing me of hyperbole, and saying that my assumption that capitalism would have to go was merely politically motivated leftist rhetoric. The problem is you never accepted the reality that the planet was on fire, and that did in fact make things different this time. It's not 1930, it's so much worse than that this time, because the planet is on fire, and everything has to change - unless the fascists win.
