Yesterday it was Kawasakis being missed, increasing the fatality rate for this girl from 2-3% to 50/50 chance of making it to 6 years old.

Today, I was simply given notice that the patient had to cancel after a 6mo wait to see me because their recurrent respiratory illnesses wont go away.

If its weighing on me, its weighing on primary care docs, nurses, etc.
