     @jhavok @JessTheUnstill The problem is finding humans who seek and acquire power who do not behave as if abuse was at least one of the natural uses of power, no matter what they say or believe. Really, abuse is one of the natural uses of power, and one exercising power must consciously refrain from abuse. That does not come “naturally”.

     Those in power always fear that someone else with more power will come along and treat them the way they treated those with less power in the past.

     @jhavok @JessTheUnstill Me too. Whatever power I have over others I did not seek and seek not to use much less abuse. I'm just not interested. Don't want to lead, don't want to follow either.

     @jhavok @JessTheUnstill Note that I said abuse is *one* of the natural uses of power. You can use your powers for good, as they say. But it's not as easy as one might think, even to tell good from bad, much less do good without the bad creeping in. People do evil all the time in the name of good. The more absolute the good, the more evil they do, generally.
