the standardized way to embed videos on web pages is using the <video> tag.
YouTube uses a non standardized way by using iFrame to embed another Web-Page which embeds the Video using the <video> tag and tracks the user.
So this page uses the standardized way, YouTube's "standard" does not.

  @breizh this has nothing to do with the DMCA. Why are you even bringing that up?
  I understand the technicalities of how this site is constructed, but I want to know why this frontend is being used as opposed to the platforms I have explicitly uploaded my content to.
  And if you want to embed YouTube content, there is a standardized way to do that. This has done something custom, and I have no idea if the views or other important YouTube algorithm metrics will carry through.

  @mitu I really don't appreciate you hosting my content to other websites without permission.
  In particular, having that particular video on that website is likely a violation of my license agreement with Getty Images. If they have any reason to believe that I had anything to do with that, I could be in serious trouble.

  Gab irgendwo mal ein schönes Schaubild, welches dies verdeutlicht hat. Weiß nur nicht mehr wo. Evtl. hat es ja jemand greifbar, weshalb Stadtpanzer eigentlich verboten gehören.

  Ah, endlich mal wieder das Märchen vom #TotenWinkel!
  Ist doch schön, dass die Überfahrenen auch noch selbst schuld sind.
  Und auch mal wieder keine Ahnung, was #Rücksichtnahme überhaupt bedeutet.
  Der Stärkere, in diesem das LKW-Fahry, kann Rücksicht nehmen, der Schwächere weicht lediglich zum Schutz der eigenen #Gesundheit und des eigenen #Lebens der #Gewalt und verzichtet auf seine Rechte.
