@graf Jewysee bans, removes & blocks people from commenting
They always label it as " spam " or "calls for violence" Of course no proof ever supplied

If people cant talk about differences/truth/groups, you dont have free speech
@charliebrownau@graf So glad I jumped off that ship the moment holes started to form. The ship is already half underwater, and yet most people now just started to realize this.
@charliebrownau@graf The only thing stopping me from going to JoshwhoTV is Cuckflare. But meh, I'm just tired of creating accounts on platforms that I don't control, I always end up being censored, banned, or shadowbanned from all of them anyway sooner or later.
Pixiv was very much free speech for many years, they only cucked out a few months ago, but as soon as they said "diversity and inclusion", they started swinging that ban hammer like a maniac on anyone who posts drawings of loli's, shota's, and JK's (JK = 女子高校生, or "female high school student" in English).
I always say, it doesn't matter if you are in favor of banning lolicon and shotacon, it's still important to put your foot down as soon as that happens, because those are always the first 2 to get censored, and if you accept it, censorship will start coming for everyone else, and it's going to be far too late to stop it once it gets beyond loli and shota censorship.
@WhiteDissidentRadio@charliebrownau@graf Blockchain internet is a meme lol. Charlie, mind to forward this message for me? Because White Dissident Radio is on Poast, and Poast has shadowbanned my account even though I'm not even on their instance.

I tried digging around for clear documentation back when Odysee was just LBRY, and they did absolutely nothing to make it easy. > > There are people who've done it... I will need to correct you a bit, but this isn't an LBRY instance, it's a Librarian instance. Librarian to Opussy is basically what Invidious is to JewTube. The regular NodeJS/Electron/React frontend is filled with surveillance, which is why Librarian was made. So what you see is nothing more but a plain Opussy frontend.
@sarvo@WhiteDissidentRadio@graf@RustyCrab@OfInterist@9 My knowledge of exactly how the LBRY protocol works isn't great, but my understanding is the blockchain shit works for address space pointing to content. However, it doesn't actually work for hosting the content itself. That needs to exist on and be hosted from a server, like any other video.

And I believe there are others. But I agree, I think the LBRY Protocol was made as a fig leaf to pretend at muh decentralization, but it was made intentionally hard to use so the bait-and-switch to Odysee(tm) would be more successful. Easier for tech-illiterate plebs to file into yet another corporate walled garden.
@sarvo@sarvo@WhiteDissidentRadio@graf@RustyCrab@OfInterist LBRY hasn't had any alternate frontends that I know of, and it was probably meant to be that way. If the protocol was simple then I'm sure it'd have many frontends but its likely complicated and hard to implement on purpose.
@graf@WhiteDissidentRadio@RustyCrab That ToS reads as being last updated in February. Both josh and jim have streamed there recently and there hasn't been an issue to my knowledge. Are you sure this is something to be concerned about? Hell, even Rand streams there.
@OfInterist@WhiteDissidentRadio@graf with the full understanding that I'm being retardedly optimistic and that no corporation stays good for long, it's worth keeping in mind that they literally have to say this stuff in order to be allowed on app stores.
Probably not. I heard there's Mediator, but even then it's basically a Opussy frontend using the same frontend lbry.tv used before they killed it. I remember them even saying they were killing lbry.tv because "decentralization is confusing to newcomers", same bullshit GC2 pulled with their little Japanese Gab wannabee Mastodon instance not so long ago. I know this is bullshit, nobody ever complained about mastodon.soycialist, mstdn.jp, pawoo.net, or some other massive Fedi instance being "confusing". Sure, some did for the first few days, but once it clicks, nobody cares.
In that case, is there any known instance of a non-LBRY/Odysee controlled server hosting video content?
I know people using the LBRY desktop application can theoretically seed content from their PC, but something tells me that isn't used very often, or functions very reliably when it is.
@charliebrownau@graf@ryo I am working on domain provision. I would like to become an ISP, but I doubt I'll get there in my lifetime. Hopefully whoever takes over my domain provision can do it.
