     You couldn’t count towards it because there isn’t a sense of time.
     
     For a shorter period you could just exercise to pass time until you’re tired enough to sleep. Might be able to get through a week that way.

     Maybe they knock you out with gas and clean you up, I think that happened in the Japanese film Oldboy (2003).
     
     Using the toilet has to be allowed because eating is. You can’t survive more than a week without food or water let alone a year.
     
     Letting shit and piss sit there would probably kill you lmfao
     
     Under normal circumstances, cleaning yourself wouldn’t be fun but I bet you could waste a whole day going through your hygiene list.
     
     If you were given an hour each day to complete those activities you could buzzcut and brush while showering.
